This Is What We Believe
We believe in one true God—the eternal, unchanging Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign over all. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: all-powerful, all-loving, just, and holy. (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 43:10-13; John 17:1-5; Ephesians 4:6; 1 John 5:7)
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible Word. Through the Holy Spirit, it was written, preserved, and conveys everything God wants us to know. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:16-21)
We believe Jesus Christ is God’s only Son, the Word made flesh. Born of the Virgin Mary, He lived sinlessly, performed miracles, died for our sins, rose bodily, and intercedes for us until His glorious return. (John 3:16; Acts 4:10; Hebrews 10:12; Matthew 1:20-21)
We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, not earned by good works, but by faith in Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection. (John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:18-19)
We believe being saved is both a decision and a way of life. Salvation begins when someone repents, trusts Christ as Lord and Savior, and believes in His resurrection. (Matthew 4:17; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
We believe salvation transforms. In Christ, we are forgiven, justified, adopted as God’s children, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to live godly lives. (2 Corinthians 5:17; 2 Peter 1:4; John 3:16)
We believe water baptism is a public declaration of faith and obedience to Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)
We believe in the Holy Spirit’s baptism, His gifts, and the fruit of the Spirit as signs of Christian maturity. These are available to believers today. (Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11; Galatians 5:22-23)
We believe in the essential importance of fellowship. As members of Christ’s body, we are called to live in community, relying on one another for spiritual growth, encouragement, and service. (Romans 12:4-21; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Hebrews 10:24-25)
We believe in the essential importance of fellowship. As members of Christ’s body, we are called to live in community, frequently enjoying each other’s fellowship, and relying on one another for spiritual growth, encouragement, and service. (Acts 2:42-47; Romans 12:4-21; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Hebrews 10:24-25)
We believe in unity among believers. In this age, we are called to de-emphasize denominational divisions and focus on shared faith in Christ. The Church thrives when believers are united in prayer, faith, and service. (1 Corinthians 1:10; Matthew 12:25)
We believe the Church’s mission is to save souls, not pursue political power. Christ’s kingdom is not of this world, and our focus is spiritual transformation—from the hearts out, not the government down. If we are to be a Christian nation, it must be because enough people have chosen Jesus Christ of their own volition, not because they were coerced in any way by a secular government. (John 18:36; Luke 19:10)
We believe Jesus will return personally, visibly, and gloriously to fulfill God’s eternal plan. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 25:31-46; Luke 21:25-28)
